There has been a bug detected in the firmware of Victron's new range of Bluetooth enabled SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers.
This bug can lead to a hardware failure of the unit so ALL users of SmartSolar MPPTs are STRONGLY ADVISED to apply this critical update (#1.37) as soon as possible.
Thankfully this is now extremely easy! All you need is a recent mobile phone, tablet or mac computer. Just download the VictronConnect app, enable Bluetooth on your device, open the app, click update and put the phone down and wait until it is finished.
