ZYC Product Guide

Overview

ZYC lithium battery systems are designed for high-performance energy storage in residential, commercial, and off-grid solar applications. Built with advanced LiFePO₄ (Lithium Iron Phosphate) technology, they offer long cycle life, safety, and high efficiency in both hybrid and stand-alone systems.

All ZYC batteries supplied through Rainbow Power Company are Clean Energy Council (CEC) approved and engineered for Australian conditions. They integrate seamlessly with SMA, Victron, and Sigenergy inverter platforms used across RPC’s SolarPro and TriPower system packages.

Why We Use ZYC

ZYC batteries deliver consistent energy storage performance with proven reliability and robust design. Their modular architecture and communication interfaces allow flexible integration and simple maintenance, making them a preferred choice for RPC’s off-grid and commercial installations.

Key Advantages

  • Long Service Life – Over 6,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge (DoD)
  • High Safety – LiFePO₄ chemistry provides exceptional thermal and chemical stability
  • Modular Design – Scalable configuration to meet residential or commercial load requirements
  • Smart Communication – Built-in BMS with CAN and RS485 compatibility for inverter integration
  • Low Maintenance – Maintenance-free operation with built-in protection features
  • Australian Approved – Fully compliant with CEC and IEC safety standards

Applications Across RPC Systems

Residential and Hybrid Solar

Used in medium-sized off-grid and hybrid homes for daily cycling and energy storage.

Typical System: SMA Sunny Island or Victron MultiPlus-II with 2–4 ZYC modules for 10–20 kWh capacity.

Commercial and Community Power

Configured in RPC’s TriPower systems for large-scale storage and load balancing.

Typical System: SMA Sunny Tripower or Victron Quattro with 6 or more ZYC modules for 30–60 kWh storage.

Remote and Off-Grid Installations

Ideal for regional and rural setups where reliable power is critical and grid access is limited.

Typical System: Victron Phoenix or MultiPlus system with 1–2 ZYC modules and solar array between 3–8 kW.

Integration and System Design

All ZYC batteries feature integrated battery management systems (BMS) that communicate with RPC inverter partners for safe and efficient operation.
